I consider Canon PowerShot SX10 IS as an entry level for professional digital camera by Canon. It is cheaply priced anybody can afford. Highly packed with features that would get amateur and hobbyist photographers produce stunning high quality images. And also it has advanced features that could get the attention of profssional photographers.
I consider the resolution when buying a camera. Canon PowerShot SX10 IS has 10 megapixel resolution meets my criteria that allow me to print poster size photos although usually print 5R and 6R for most of my needs.With 20x optical zoom, this camera is a valuable tool for me to take photos at a distant specially when i go taking photos of birds and other wild animals. A tele zoom lens would do much better.
Most of all it has lots of built in and preset feature settings for the amateur to make it easy to take different scenes under different conditions like portraits, sports or action and even macro or close-up shots.| Advantages: | Cheap, 10 megapixels, 20x optical |
